SAL is the budget friendly method of shipping parcels from Japan. When choosing this method of delivery, the items will be delivered within 14 to 21 days (depending on the type of delivery).

When choosing this shipping method, the package can be sent in 2 ways - Ecomony Air (SAL), Ecomony Air (SAL) Small packet. To select the delivery method, please indicate the comment to the package. SAL parcel deliveries are sent and received at the post office of the recipient’s address.

Main characteristics

Delivery time: 16-22 days.
Maximum parcel weight: 20 kg.
Maximum length of parcel: 100 cm.
Size limitations: 200 cm.

Parcel tracking: the whole route of the parcel.

Insurance: not provided.

There must be no more than two products with lithium batteries in one parcel. Japan Post doesn’t deliver goods prohibited for airmail transportation such as flammable liquids, motor oil, shock absorbers, and similar products.

SAL small packet

SAL’s small packet option is a very convenient and maybe the cheapest way to ship small packages.

Main characteristics

Delivery time: 16-22 days.
Maximum size of the parcel (length + width + height): no more than 90 cm

Maximum length of parcel: no more than 60 cm

Maximum weight: 2 kg

Parcel tracking: the whole route of the parcel.

Insurance: not provided.
